The Little Flowers Girls' Club assists in developing the Christian virtues in girls ages 5 to 12 in the company of their mothers and/or grandmothers. Mothers and daughters share in a special time of fellowship, learning and handcrafts. The Truths of the Catholic Faith are taught through the Virtues, Sacraments, Scripture and the Lives of the Saints. An added bonus of the gatherings is instruction in the feminine arts of needlework, painting and other crafts.
"Little Flowers Girls' Club® is a Catholic program for girls ages 5 and up based on learning Catholic virtues through the lives of
Catholic saints, Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
Developed by a Catholic mom of nine, Rachel Watkins,
and based on Fr. Lasance's Catholic Girls' Guide,
the Club strives to bring the Catholic faith alive
and inspire the girls to become authentic Catholic women..."
The mission of the group is to foster a deeper appreciation and living out of the tenets of the Faith while nurturing authentic Catholic friendship between the women and the girls who participate. A lifelong love of God and friendship with Him and His Holy Roman Catholic Church is ultimately the goal of this ministry.
Registered members of The Little Flowers Girls' Club meet one Saturday a month from 9:00 - 11:30 in the morning in St. Mary's Hall to learn about the Christian virtues, Catholic saints, and to grow in the Faith while growing in friendship with one another.
