Baptism is the door to the other sacraments. 
It removes all sins, making us
“partakers of the divine nature” (2 Pet 1:4),
adopted sons and daughters of the heavenly Father,
and heirs of heaven. 

The sacrament of Baptism is so important
that Jesus said without it we
“cannot enter the kingdom of God” (Jn 3:5).
It is in the Sacrament of Baptism
that the Christian is “born again” in Christ.
